Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary:
CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Barlow Respiratory Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. As a part-time, non-exempt pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of medication orders, maintaining the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill orders with precision and attention to detail
- Verify technician-prepared products before release
- Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with accuracy
- Aid in the training of new staff members
- Update the Director on daily pharmacy activities
- Assist the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
- 3+ years of recent experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital preferred
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
