Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Valid certificate of registration from the Board of Nurse Examiners and Nurse Registration, State of California.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse or school nurse.
  • Knowledge of health education programs, childhood diseases, and health problems.
  • Ability to conduct health education programs, identify health-related problems, and make appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers and service agencies.
