Position Overview

This role involves significant responsibilities in overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of various program segments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager, you will:
  • Utilize delegated managerial authority to guide the comprehensive planning, directing, and timely execution of a program, along with multiple program segments managed through distinct subordinate units.
  • Authorize multi-year and long-term work plans crafted by subordinate managers, ensuring effective management of overall work to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Supervise the adjustment of long-term plans, goals, and objectives for the directed work.
  • Oversee the formulation of policy modifications in response to changes in funding levels or other legislative adjustments.
  • Manage organizational transformations within the directed organization or significant changes to the structure and content of the programs.
  • Exercise discretionary authority in approving the allocation and distribution of financial resources within the organization's budget.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of one year of specialized experience at a comparable level in program management or supervisory roles.
  • Experience in applying management techniques and principles to optimize personnel and resources.
  • Proficiency in planning, directing, and evaluating the work of subordinate managers and staff.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to program oversight and development.
  • Experience in budget management and fiscal methodologies relevant to organizational maintenance.
Conditions of Employment
