Merchandiser Part-Time Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for organizing and replenishing checkout and newsstand shelves in local grocery and superstores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and replenish checkout and newsstand shelves with magazines and other products.
  • Work with retailers and service partners to ensure stores are merchandised properly and inventory is handled appropriately.
  • Assist in increasing sales for retail partners through correct product handling and excellent customer service attitude.

Requirements:

  • Active smartphone or mobile device.
  • Proficient with using system applications to report work hours and business data.
  • Reliable transportation to service assigned accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and climb as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in temperature and humidity.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
