Role Summary: This position involves providing comprehensive support to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, a unique facility within the Air Force structure. The Program Manager will supervise a multi-disciplinary IT support team, ensuring thorough assistance for all systems and applications, including future enhancements or replacements. This team is responsible for the complete range of maintenance, administration, management, and application services necessary for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer leadership, management, and quality assurance for the team
  • Oversee all aspects of maintenance, administration, and enhancement of the business system
  • Facilitate daily meetings to enhance communication and coordinate team efforts
  • Implement a Kanban board to manage tasks and maintain workflow
  • Track performance metrics
  • Lead review sessions to promote continuous improvement
  • Ensure timely delivery of required reports and documentation
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and compliance training for team members
  • Evaluate ongoing activities and address any issues related to program performance
  • Oversee quality control measures to uphold high standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • At least five years of experience in managing complex programs
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in a military context in a related field (including software engineering and database administration)
  • Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is essential
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Experience with equipment management duties is a beneficial asset
