Job DescriptionAt Care To Stay Home, we are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Companion to provide personalized care and support to our clients in their homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. You will also engage patients in exercises and activities to help maintain their physical and mental well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Aid in cooking and meal preparation
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as changing bed linens and cleaning the home
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as moving in and out of beds and wheelchairs
  • Maintain records of patient care and progress
  • Build relationships with patients through conversation and activities
  • Provide medication reminders and engage patients in exercises


Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of caregiving experience, preferably with senior clients
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 40 pounds and assisting with client mobility
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Commitment to providing critical and consistent care to clients
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record check
