Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inplant Ink Technician to join our team at INX International Ink. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining our on-site ink room and ensuring the highest quality of ink production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and coordinate jobs accordingly
  • Review scheduling and perform technical service, color matching, and ink production
  • Evaluate production requirements based on customer schedule changes and control work-off
  • Manage inventory and perform monthly consignment counts
  • Provide press-side technical support and complete monthly reports
  • Perform quality control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches
  • Follow all safety requirements and maintain data entry accuracy
Requirements
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Effective color matching skills and ability to pass a color vision test
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently
  • Good organization skills and 2-5 years of work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spectrophotometer knowledge and experience
  • Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
  • Familiar with X-Rite IQC
  • Flexible packaging knowledge
  • Flexographic printing knowledge
  • Solvent ink knowledge
  • Previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Inplant pressroom experience
  • College degree
