Job Title: Inplant Ink Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Inplant Ink Technician to join our team at INX International Ink Co. This role will be responsible for maintaining our on-site ink room and serving as a liaison between INX and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers
  • Review and coordinate job schedules with customers
  • Provide technical service, color matching, and ink production
  • Evaluate production requirements based on customer schedule changes
  • Control Work-off and inventory management
  • Perform job estimates and provide press-side technical support
  • Complete monthly reports and perform Quality Control tests
  • Follow all safety requirements and maintain data entry accuracy
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Color vision test and excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication with peers and customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently
  • Good organization skills and 2 to 5 years of work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spectrophotometer knowledge and experience
  • Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
  • Familiar with X-Rite IQC and flexible packaging knowledge
  • Flexographic printing knowledge and solvent ink knowledge
  • Previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience
  • SAP Knowledge and inplant pressroom experience
  • College degree
