Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and confirm guest reservations, requests, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process guest payments, verify and adjust billing, and secure payment.
  • Activate and file room keys, and provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and services.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Run and review daily reports and logs, and complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift, and secure bank.
  • Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
