About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in our care, providing a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Supervise and assist individuals in developing daily living skills, such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping, to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, including community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
  • Schedule and transport individuals to and from our day program, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
  • One year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to complete required new hire orientation class and maintain a valid license.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require walking, sitting, and standing, with occasional lifting and/or managing resistance.
