We are a leading manufacturer of commercial wall framing materials, utilizing advanced metalworking equipment to produce high-quality products. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines.
Shift Hours:
- We offer a 4 on, 4 off schedule to provide a healthy work-life balance.
- Our 1st Shift Hours are from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with the option to work mandatory overtime until 6 pm when requested.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Candidates must be willing to work 8-hour shifts and be available for overtime.
- Background in a manufacturing environment is essential, with experience operating industrial metalworking equipment a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe working environment is crucial.
- You must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance and have a valid forklift certification (although not required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve production materials from inventory prior to production.
- Operate assembly line stations according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner, performing regular quality checks.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment by collecting scrap and cleaning up your station.
- Retain awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error-free and damage-free results.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth production process.
- Use all required safety gear and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with plant rules and policies, and perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
