Radiologic Technologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Arora Group. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will play a critical role in coordinating complex clinical operations at one of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform conventional radiology imaging of patients, including chest radiography to screen for tuberculosis
- Set up X-ray rooms and adapt positions to meet the needs of patients
- Evaluate x-rays to ensure they are artifact-free and correctly developed
- Call significant findings to the attention of physicians or ordering healthcare providers
- Maintain use of dosimeter badges and ensure patient and radiology personnel receive minimal radiation exposure
- Log and document x-rays performed, file reports and jackets, and maintain quality control systems on x-ray machines and processors
- Confer with radiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine technical factors and positioning
- Advises radiologists or referring physicians of results and provides preliminary diagnostic evaluations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in IHSC's Safety, Prevention, Infection and Control, Quality Improvement, Patient Education, and other programs
- Graduate from a certificate or associate degree Radiologic Technologist program accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- One-year experience as a certified (license if required) Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting (preferred, not required)
- Current National Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
- State licensure if required by the state in which the duty station is located
- Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association, CPR for the professional rescuer through the American Red Cross, or the American Safety and Health Institute
