Job Overview:
Randstad is seeking a skilled Lab Service Engineer to join our team, focusing on the semiconductor and research sectors. This role involves ensuring optimal performance of laboratory equipment through various maintenance and support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  • Perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration of equipment.
  • Utilize necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Process Development and Engineering, to support research and development initiatives.
  • Install and provide support for prototype equipment, developing necessary documentation.
  • Travel as needed to address complex issues at client locations.
  • Deliver direct customer support, addressing both hardware and software concerns.
  • Occasionally mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: Experienced
  • Minimum of 4 years in a related field
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Research and Development processes
  • Field Engineering experience
