Position Overview:
This role is essential for ensuring the quality and safety of aircraft structures. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the meticulous inspection of components related to various aircraft models.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft structures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Execute first article inspections in accordance with established operating procedures and guidelines.
- Engage in root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to address and eliminate non-conformities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production and inspection processes by applying Lean methodologies.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft inspection.
- Proven experience in First Article Inspection.
- Familiarity with CATIA or similar modeling software is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both composite and sheet metal inspection.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Experience with CMM inspection and operation.

Compensation:
- Hourly rate ranging from $47 to $50.
- Per diem options available.

Work Schedule:
- Flexibility in shift patterns is essential.
- Willingness to work overtime on weekends as required.

Contract Duration:
- This is a contract position with a duration of 12 months or more.
