Construction Project Lead

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to manage and oversee various construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel throughout all project phases.
- Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans and meet with stakeholders to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Oversight of resource acquisition and material procurement as needed before and during projects by collaborating with customers, team members, managers, and accountants.
- Anticipate details of future projects by engaging with customers and staying informed about relevant industry trends and news.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
- Conduct risk assessments for project activities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience seeing projects through their full life cycle.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership managing people.
- Experience in contract management and budgeting.
- Understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, along with benefits including 401k, medical & dental, paid holidays and PTO, 4 day work week, tuition reimbursement, and life insurance.
