Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living, a luxurious 20-acre continuing care retirement community in New Jersey.

About the Role:

The LPN will be responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood, adhering to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with residents and their families, using a consistent caregiver approach to support their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Assess, observe, and evaluate residents' clinical conditions, documenting findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notifying the provider and/or RN when necessary.
  • Update or modify care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident's care and service needs.
  • Supervise and lead care associates.
  • Administer medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
  • Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
  • Respond to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

Compensation:

Up to $37.00 per hour with experience.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • Must have an active CPR certificate.
  • A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English is required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
