About This Role

Chinese Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Central Sterile/Central Supply Technician to join our team in Perioperative Services. As a key member of our health care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate surgical instrumentation and equipment using infection control techniques
  • Prepare items for decontamination by sorting and selecting the correct process to ensure integrity and prevent damage
  • Operate all decontamination washers, washer sterilizers, sonic washers, and dryers
  • Assemble sets with the use of count sheets and replace missing instrumentation
  • Wrap, pack, and label all instrument trays and single instrument packs
  • Follow Hospital and Department policies and procedures at all times
  • Attend in-services, training classes, and staff meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
Qualifications
  • Two years' previous experience working as a Central Sterile/Central Supply Technician
  • CPR certification, renewed annually
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, and move 50% of the day
Compliance Requirements

Comply with Chinese Hospital Compliance Handbook, including Code of Ethics and all statutes, regulations, and guidelines applicable to federal and state programs.

Base Pay Scale

Starting at $42.23 per hour. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
