The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Zero Trust architecture to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Architect on our project, you will be part of the architecture and design efforts of innovative cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect information systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST, OMB Mandates, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
  • Lead technical solution development for large, complex organizations, including product selection initiatives and technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate customer IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions
  • Investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going, leading the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity
  • 10+ years of experience with leading technical solution development for large, complex organizations
  • Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST, OMB Mandates, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
  • Experience with leading product selection initiatives
  • Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, SSE, SASE, IDP, IDS, DLP, SWG, EDR, MFA, data tagging, or comply to connection (C2C)
  • Knowledge of leading ICAM solutions, including MSFT Entra, AD, or LDAP, and how they are part of the ZT ecosystem
  • Knowledge of network technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, or satellite, and how they play a part in delivering a ZT cyber solution
  • Ability to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role
  • Experience with selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Information Security Certification, including CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • DoD 8570 IASAE Level III Certification, including CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP Certification
Clearance
