Cloud Security Architect

As a Cloud Security Architect at CrossCountry Consulting, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud environments for our clients. With a strong background in cloud and cybersecurity, you will develop logical and technical cloud security architectures, API designs, and functional requirements to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' cloud-based systems.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their cloud security needs and develop tailored solutions to address their challenges. Your expertise in cloud and cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as NIST CSF and ISO 27000, will be essential in ensuring that our clients' cloud environments meet the highest security standards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including cloud security assessments, penetration testing, and security program development. You will also have the chance to collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement new cloud security solutions and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cloud security architectures and designs for secure cloud environments
  • Conduct cloud security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
  • Develop and implement cloud security solutions and best practices
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their cloud security needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay current with the latest developments and trends in cloud and cybersecurity
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud and cybersecurity
  • Experience building and implementing solutions on industry cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in implementing, building and operating security capabilities in cloud environments and working with cloud/DevOps technologies
  • Working knowledge of cloud and cybersecurity standards and frameworks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
