Speech Pathologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide evaluation and rehabilitation services to communicatively impaired individuals exhibiting disorders of speech, language or swallowing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish daily schedules, treatment plans, and priorities to service assigned patients.
  • Work independently within department policies, consulting superiors as needed.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables within established department and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to assign and delegate duties in a clear and understandable manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited university training program with concentration in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology; current state license; minimum of four years clinical experience.
  • MBS (Modified Barium Swallow testing) experience is required.
