Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals dedicated to supporting the communication and language development of students in K-12 settings. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing speech and language disorders, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • MA state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
