Responsibilities of a Caregiver

As a caregiver, you'll be responsible for providing assistance with daily living tasks, such as:

  • Helping with household chores and laundry
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Assisting with incidental transportation
  • Providing medication assistance and personal care
  • Supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Idaho resident 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Able to lift 25lbs
  • Able to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Able to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end-of-life
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Pass nationwide background check, DMV check, and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver's license, social security card, and valid auto insurance
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
