We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Abdominal Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. As a Radiology Clinician Educator, you will play a critical role in the education and training of residents and fellows in the Department of Radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for residents and fellows, including daily clinical supervision and teaching during readouts and conferences.
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Prepare and present learning materials, lectures, and presentations for national review.
- Contribute to the development of a focused body of research in the field of Abdominal Imaging, including clinical and translational studies.
- Participate in the Abdominal Imaging off-hour on-call program, including evenings, nights, and weekend coverage.
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in an ACGME-approved abdominal imaging fellowship program.
- Prior experience in image-guided biopsy is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong research experience and evidence of peer-reviewed scholarship.
