Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Abdominal Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the education and training of our residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality imaging services, including Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy of the body.
  • Participate in the Abdominal Imaging off-hour on-call program, including evenings, nights, and weekend coverage.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for residents and fellows, including daily clinical supervision and teaching during readouts and conferences.
  • Contribute to the development of learning materials and lectures, teaching posters, and presentations for national review.

Requirements

  • MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
  • American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in an ACGME-approved abdominal imaging fellowship program.
  • Prior experience in image-guided biopsy is highly desirable but not required.
