Executive Chef

An exceptional leader is needed to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing a team of cooks and workers, leading daily culinary production, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily culinary production, ensuring the preparation and presentation of meals meet the highest standards.
- Manage a team of cooks and workers, providing guidance and direction to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and customer service.
- Manage department controllable expenses, including food cost, supplies, uniforms, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
- Extensive catering experience a plus.
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and the Internet.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A.S. or equivalent experience.
- ServSafe certified, highly desirable.
