Position Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director, Co-Head of the Product Specialist Department, the Senior Vice President will play a pivotal role in enhancing investor relations and supporting fundraising initiatives.
Department Summary:
The Product Specialist Team is dedicated to crafting, updating, and distributing essential information and materials for investor communication strategies. This team collaborates closely with Firm leadership and various internal departments to ensure that all communications are timely, precise, and aligned with the Firm's branding and messaging.
Additionally, the team aids Business Development in technical discussions with both potential and existing investors, frequently developing content for presentations, panels, and speaking engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President will be tasked with:
- Facilitating the fundraising efforts of the Investor Partners Group (IPG) by delivering data analytics and addressing information requests from clients.
- Creating tailored reports and drafting comprehensive responses to investor inquiries.
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of Golub Capital's fund offerings and effectively communicating these details in both verbal and written formats.
- Engaging in client discussions regarding fund offerings and performance, including quarterly updates and due diligence meetings.
- Contributing to the launch of new products and managing related initiatives, collaborating with internal partners to ensure key deliverables are met.
- Developing investor-facing content such as performance reports, thought leadership pieces, and portfolio analytics.
- Working with various departments to gather product and portfolio information to fulfill investor requests.
- Mentoring junior staff to produce high-quality, timely content.
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CFA designation is advantageous.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in investment management, particularly in credit products.
- Expertise in private credit strategies and investment vehicles, including BDCs, CLOs, and private funds.
- Experience in performance analytics and attribution related to credit products.
- A strong intellectual curiosity and a commitment to developing innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- The initiative to work independently while fostering teamwork.
- Willingness to travel as required.
