Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Recreation Assistant. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department, ensuring a high-quality experience for our service members, their families, and civilian employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events, recreation programs, and activities
  • Provide excellent customer service at the front counter, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate a point of sale system, collect fees, and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Conduct inventory management, ensuring the availability of equipment, retail goods, and rental supplies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote and schedule entertainment and recreational activities
Requirements
  • One year of practical work experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the Navy MWR mission and community recreation activities
