Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Developmental Disabilities Specialist

Resources For Human Development is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist - Developmental Disabilities Specialist, you will provide treatment and support to consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities or co-occurring mental health and addiction diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective occupational therapy treatment plans to support consumers in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to consumers, family members, and caregivers on adaptive equipment and techniques.
  • Assess and recommend modifications to consumer's home and other environments to promote safety and independence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • 3 years of clinical experience, with a preference for experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Active certification and state licensure.
