Occupational Therapist

Resources For Human Development is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide treatment and support to consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities or co-occurring mental health and addiction diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to support consumers in developing, recovering, and maintaining activities of daily living.
- Assess consumer's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.
- Teach consumers new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components.
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for consumers.
- Possession of a Bachelor's level degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 3 years of clinical experience required; experience with adults with Intellectual Disabilities preferred.
- Evidence of active certification and State licensure.
The Occupational Therapist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with consumers, clinical team members, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
Salary: $70,000.00
