Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team at Iyia Miami. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Iyia Miami's standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
  • Age Verification: Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
  • Product Knowledge: Keep up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, upscale environment.
  • Mixology Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stress Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Point-of-Sale Systems: Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Age Requirement: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Certification: Certification in Mixology or relevant training is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
