Job Overview

Compensation: $16.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

***Monthly performance bonuses available in addition to base salary.***

We are looking for a dedicated maintenance technician for our apartment community. As a Service Technician I, your role will involve transforming vacant units into inviting homes for new residents. You will also be tasked with maintaining the property grounds and shared spaces. If you take pride in your work and enjoy seeing the results of your efforts, this position could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Completing a checklist of duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
  • Inspecting the property grounds and communal areas, including litter collection.
  • Executing additional tasks as directed by the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in apartment communities, commercial properties, or single-family homes.
  • Ability to meet all physical demands and follow instructions effectively.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Availability for weekend work as needed; on-call duties every other week for emergencies.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
  • Certification as a Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; weekend work as required; on-call for emergencies on a rotating schedule.

Licensing: A valid Driver's License is required in the state of employment or a neighboring state, or a willingness to obtain one within 60 days.
