Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Glen Retirement System. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in a senior living or healthcare setting a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
