Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to oversee our shipping and receiving operations. In this role, you will be tasked with:

  • Ensuring precise inventory management and conducting cycle counts
  • Designating materials/items to specific locations and organizing them on shelves, racks, or bins
  • Labeling materials with appropriate identification
  • Compiling orders for both internal and external clients from inventory and arranging them on pallets
  • Preparing products for dispatch
  • Utilizing SAP for record-keeping and label generation
  • Overseeing and developing delivery and shipping timelines
  • Generating Bills of Lading (BOLs) and coordinating carrier pick-ups
  • Executing additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications

To meet the expectations of this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Strong written, reading comprehension, and mathematical skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift, cherry picker, and turret
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other computer applications
  • Physical capability to bend, push, or pull as necessary

Additionally, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting
  • Training in handling hazardous materials
  • Familiarity with SAP systems
