Leidos is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler Manager to join their team in supporting DISA at Fort Meade, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for agency migration projects.

The candidate must possess strong MS Project skills and scheduling experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run schedule reviews to ensure project managers stay on track and report issues timely.
  • Provide support to program managers and project teams addressing workload surges and ad-hoc taskings.
  • Apply scheduling theory to develop and maintain the IMS and related artifacts.
  • Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules, and monitoring performance against contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
  • Generate and publish accurate Master Schedules using MS Project.
  • Develop detailed schedules and keep them current, integrated into the Master Schedule.
  • Provide hands-on development of layered schedules detailing project progress and contributions to program objectives.
  • Develop resource-loaded and level project schedules using the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project life cycle, and other events.
  • Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track changes weekly.
  • Perform 'what if' scenarios within the schedule.
  • Develop schedule version control processes and policies.
  • Perform schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.

Requirements:

  • BA degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • MS Project and/or other schedule management tools.
  • Integrated Master Schedule architecture.
  • Critical Path understanding.
  • Schedule Status/Forecast Management/Business Rhythms.
  • Baseline Change Control.
  • Schedule metrics reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team environment.

Salary Range: $80,600 - $145,700 per year. Leidos offers competitive compensation based on factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity. This job may be eligible for remote work arrangements. An active Secret security clearance is required for this position. US Citizenship is mandatory.
