About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Production/Catering Chef to join our team at CJ's Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily meal preparation for 3000+ students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Production and Planning: Develop and implement meal plans that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our students, ensuring high-quality and nutritious meals are prepared and served daily.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 8-10 kitchen employees, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management and Ordering: Oversee the inventory of food and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our meal production needs.
  • Collaboration with the Owner: Work closely with the owner to develop and implement strategies to improve our culinary operations, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall dining experience for our students.
  • Shift Management: Manage the midnight/early morning hour shift, ensuring that all meal production and preparation tasks are completed to the highest standards.
