Software Engineer for NextGen OPIR Ground Solution

Kaztronix is seeking a skilled Cleared Software Engineer to join their team in Longmont, CO. This is a 100% onsite position that requires an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software within the NextGen OPIR Ground Solution
  • Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and analyze system capabilities
  • Ensure software standards are met
  • Monitor and correct system performance issues, apply network configurations, and create network design

The ideal candidate will have experience in DevSecOps/CI/CD pipeline, C++, Qt framework (GUI), pub/sub messaging, PostgreSQL, Linux environments, Ansible Scripting, GIT/Jenkins, and Agile Methodologies. Knowledge and/or experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, machine learning, and multi-threaded applications is a plus.
