Adjunct Faculty Position in Substance Abuse Counseling

In this role, you will serve as an Adjunct Instructor for the Inmate Education Program, providing instruction and leadership in the implementation of curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering classroom instruction in DAAC classes using face-to-face delivery
- Implementing curriculum and assessing student progress
- Providing guidance and support to students from diverse backgrounds
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- An Associate degree in DAAC or a closely related field
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of students
We are seeking candidates with:
- An earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
- Prior teaching experience in a public two-year college
- Ability to understand teaching and evaluation methodologies
- Ability to deal with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
This position requires occasional travel and a valid Texas Driver's License. You will work in a normal classroom setting with some hazardous conditions possible.
