Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, including preparing and cleaning equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- 2+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
