We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a Cath Lab Travel Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures, including catheterizations, angiograms, and vascular studies, under the guidance of a physician.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, such as C-Arm and GE x-ray systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- 1 year of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT.
- Preferred certifications include Endo experience, IV Starts, Ablations, Angiograms, Peripherals, Vascular Studies, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring, and Merge.
- 4x9.5 day shifts, 07:00-16:30.
- Weeknights and weekends, with 15-18 days of call in a six-week schedule.
