About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and customer-oriented individual to connect with blood donors and arrange appointments in a dynamic setting. Apheresis Recruitment Specialists adhere to established scripts and possess strong attention to detail. In this role, you will directly contribute to our life-saving mission by ensuring that individuals continue to receive essential blood products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with current apheresis and whole blood donors via telephone to encourage donations.
- Coordinate appointments to maximize donor participation each day.
- Utilize a structured process and appropriate scripts to ensure a consistent and positive donor experience.
- Meet daily production standards, including call volume and appointment scheduling, to achieve collection goals.
- Develop a thorough understanding of donor eligibility criteria to inform donors and minimize deferrals.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and scheduled appointments to ensure effective communication and donor availability.
- Collaborate with recruitment managers to identify new leads and implement innovative donor recruitment strategies.
Requirements for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in telephone-based customer service or telemarketing is necessary.
- Experience in meeting sales targets is preferred.
- Face-to-face customer interaction experience is advantageous.
- Experience with outbound calls is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer usage, along with strong customer service and problem-solving skills, is essential.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to manage challenging customer interactions in a fast-paced environment are required.
