FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Multifamily Property Operations Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL.

About the Role

The Multifamily Property Operations Manager will be fully accountable in assisting the Community Director with the day-to-day property operations, and managing the asset to meet the client's expressed operational and financial goals.

This includes supervising on-site staff, maintaining occupancy levels, exhibiting professional leasing techniques, and implementing advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive, professional and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients and guests while representing FPI Management, Inc.
  • Responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Exhibit closing ratios in regards phone and walk-in traffic per FPI policy.
  • Ensure that all online marketing sources are updated (e.g., Craigslist) daily.
  • Promote positive resident/management relations, to retain desirable residents.
  • Assist with the implementation of resident retention programs.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort and privacy of all property residents.
  • Ensure move-in orientation is completed consistently with new residents.
  • Accurately processing vendor invoices and managing accounting month end.
  • Maintain appropriate resident files including forms, leases, documents in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
