Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SCADA and Controls Engineer to join our Power Generation Division. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex control systems for solar and battery storage facilities.

Responsibilities

The Senior SCADA and Controls Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing control solutions for solar and battery storage facilities;
  • Providing technical leadership in the functional specification, design, and implementation of control systems;
  • Performing system testing and documentation for control system changes and upgrades;
  • Analyzing and correcting complex application deficiencies and system issues;
  • Providing automation engineering support for failure mitigation, process improvement, data analytics, and improving performance targets;
  • Establishing and/or modifying procedures and guidelines supporting controls and SCADA users.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in SCADA applications, PLCs, and control systems;
  • Experience with Modbus and OPC protocols;
  • Working knowledge of power fundamentals and voltage control;
  • Strong background in logic development and troubleshooting;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
