For more than 85 years, the Virginia area-headquartered company has been elevating the business of building nationwide through innovation, research and development, sustainability, and by working tirelessly and intentionally to earn clients' trust by making every building experience exceptional.Your new roleLead Data Center Construction ProjectsManage Projects Throughout Southeastern States Assist bidding for mechanical and electrical trades Manage Equipment Procurement process Develop MEP critical path schedule Coordinate and track critical path construction and startup activities Review mechanical and electrical submittals Organize and conduct project meetings for critical MEP activities Develop MOP for critical work in live environments Work with subcontractors and design team to provide conflict resolution for MEP issues Coordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems construction Manage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems Coordinate and support third party commissioning activities Manage commissioning documentationWhat you'll need to succeedA four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration on construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.4 years experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction3 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and Commissioning within a Data Center environmentStrong communication skills; verbal and writtenStrong leadership skills; able to build and lead a teamCapable of coordinating and scheduling MEP activitiesEffectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of dutiesPreconstruction / Equipment Procurement ExperienceWilling to travelWhat you'll get in returnSalary: $110k - $150k BaseBonus: 15-20%Full benefits package.Vehicle allowance.401k match.Work in a fast-paced industry where no two days are alike.
