The Beck Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and drive construction excellence across multiple projects.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience in vertical commercial construction, overseeing projects worth $100 million or more. As our ideal candidate, you will have completed multiple projects as a Project Leader, with a strong understanding of pre-project planning and its impact on project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete oversight of on-site construction, including supervising and directing a team of 5-20 project engineers, APMs, superintendents, field engineers, safety supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Leading Beck's interface with clients, establishing trust, and exceeding expectations at every stage of the project.
  • Participating in preconstruction efforts, assembling bid packages, directing pre-bid meetings, detailed analysis of bids, buy-out, and contract administration.
  • Directly managing or overseeing the review of proposed changes from Owners or Architects and developing Change Orders by soliciting and thoroughly analyzing subcontractor proposals.
  • Oversight of the project schedule, primarily managed by on-site superintendents, to ensure the project remains on schedule and complies with Beck's scheduling policy.
  • Identifying and leading cost savings efforts through value engineering.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate general conditions and general requirements budgets.
  • Negotiating disputes and resolving disagreements with Owners, Architects, and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring construction, subcontracts, and purchase orders align with Contract Documents.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships to win $25M or more in work annually.

About You:

You must also meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in vertical commercial construction with construction values at or exceeding $100 million.
  • 15+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
  • Completed multiple projects as the Project Leader in charge of the outcome (financial, completion, schedule).
  • Understands the successful pre-project planning effects on the delivery of a project.
  • College graduate with a relevant degree, or experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Experience using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits that go beyond just compensation.
