Primary Objective
Oversee and facilitate processes related to the admission, renewal, and dismissal (ARD) procedures while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Actively contribute to the overarching mission and strategic initiatives of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Texas special education certification.
Special Knowledge/Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Comprehensive understanding of special education laws and regulations.
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and data effectively.
Exceptional organizational capabilities.
Proficient in multitasking with minimal oversight.
Adaptable to changes in a constructive manner.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in special education teaching.
3 years of experience in a leadership role or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manage services related to electronic and eligibility folder oversight for the Admission, Review, and Dismissal process.
Provide guidance and support for campus team leaders.
Conduct training sessions on IEP development, instructional strategies, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Perform regular compliance checks at both campus and district levels in collaboration with the Director of Special Education Programs.
Assist in updating Operating Guidelines as necessary.
Address campus inquiries regarding the ARD process.
Develop and distribute various communication tools to keep staff, students, parents, and the community informed about special education activities (including FAQs, newsletters, flyers, etc.).
Coordinate data management to ensure compliance (PEIMS, eSped, etc.).
Provide monthly data reports to the Director of Special Education Programs.
Comply with federal, state, and local special education requirements.
Demonstrate the core values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
Engage in professional development opportunities for personal growth.
Research district policies and current practices prior to taking action.
Act as an effective team member contributing to district, department, and content objectives.
Exhibit proficiency in technology applications.

Utilize time efficiently for effective job management.
Maintain punctuality in daily responsibilities and meetings.
Meet deadlines established by supervisors.
