Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance Linux infrastructure to support our business needs.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain our Linux systems, including patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
  • Automation and Monitoring: Utilize automation and monitoring tools to minimize day-to-day maintenance and optimize system management practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of our Linux infrastructure with our applications.
  • Security: Ensure the secure and effective operation of our Linux computing systems by aligning to our infrastructure framework.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system problems quickly and effectively, working with other systems engineers and vendors as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing UNIX/Linux Systems and/or enterprise network technologies.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux systems, scripting languages (Bash, Python), and automation tools (Git, Salt, Ansible, Puppet).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RHEL, Debian, VMware, Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, and knowledge of HPC platforms, GPU/Cuda clusters, and data visualization tools.
