RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate project specifications and blueprints to create precise cost estimates.
  • Partner with project managers and engineers to clarify project needs.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
  • Prepare and level bids for project consideration.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and contracts tailored to project specifications.
  • Oversee project expenditures and implement cost management strategies throughout the construction phase.
  • Conduct take-offs to ensure accurate material and labor assessments.
  • Visit job sites to collect information for enhanced estimating accuracy.
  • Provide assistance with project management tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in estimating for high-end single-family residential construction projects for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Familiarity with engaging UHNW stakeholders and their representatives.
  • Experience in sourcing quotes from various subcontractors.
  • Proficient in Bluebeam or similar estimating software.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, processes, and pricing models.
  • Ability to accurately assess costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of cost control techniques within the construction sector.
