Job Title: Brand Director

Marquee Brands is seeking a seasoned Brand Director to lead our Home Division team in New York. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and brand success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to support business growth
  • Collaborate with licensees to develop category business plans and ensure successful execution
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and consumers to maximize potential
  • Work closely with design teams to develop product strategies and requirements
  • Use data and insights to analyze performance and drive business decision-making
  • Be the expert on the customer, market, and competition for assigned categories
  • Drive business results and achieve financial plans
  • Develop and execute seasonal or yearly category line reviews to improve assortments and merchandising standards
  • Conduct effective negotiations with vendors to maximize profits and margin goals
  • Partner with legal teams to understand key deal terms and ensure compliance
  • Onboard and train new licensees on key brand strategies and initiatives
  • Develop highly fashionable and quality goods that represent an incredible value to our retailers and customers
  • Analyze history and current business to strategically forecast future opportunities
  • Establish successful and collaborative cross-functional partnerships with marketing, creative services, and broader merchandising teams
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working within a brand, retail, and e-commerce environment
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Impeccable work ethics and a strong commitment to meeting goals and deadlines
  • Success in building cross-group and cross-functional relationships
  • Eager and willing to add to their knowledge base and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of buying, merchandising, brand management, or comparable experience in a multi-channel or online retail environment
  • History of managing a team and excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience with software solutions such as product information/catalog management systems, PIM, ERP, and Microsoft Office

Salary: $100,000-$130,000
