In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring security today and fostering smarter solutions for tomorrow. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our intelligence clients.

Impactful Contributions:

As a Senior Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer, you will:

  • Manage and maintain the existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across various security domains in both cloud and on-premises (vSphere) settings.
  • Support OpenShift operators and frameworks, including Crossplane, Kyverno, and RedHat GitOps.
  • Facilitate the deployment of OpenShift to new locations as they become operational.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to comprehend integration needs and scale existing platforms accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Security team to ensure compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Support data services, including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
  • Compile comprehensive documentation for all processes and systems.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of development experience.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, holding one of the following certifications: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience in deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Git.
  • Experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL/RHCOS and CentOS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitOps.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, along with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem.

Desired Certifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift.
