About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Valmont Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchboards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient installation and repair.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, plant managers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State Electrical License and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a plant maintenance electrician in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Certified to operate forklifts, man-lifts, cranes, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and decipher blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC logic and ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment.
